We had a session at Innis Woods that produced great resuts. Fun was had by both the family members and the photograrpher (me).... :-)

Jarrod Senior Session

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Jarrod for his Senior Pictures. We had both formal and informal poses.....as well as serious and not so serious. Engagement Session

I had the privelage to shoot the engangement session of Tess and Bill. We met in downtown Columbus under the arch across the street from Nationwide Arena. What a fantastic location for a photography shoot. Great architecture, Great views, Great atmosphere..!!! We had an awesome time with this session and I enjoyed working with this couple. Sorry Bill for taking so long.......Sorry Tess for not taking more time... :-) Anyway, we got some great images that you will remember for years to come Let me know if you want me to shoot the wedding....I can be tempted to make a trip south!

Saturday Morning Portrait Session

I had the privelage to take pictures of the Davis family this past Saturday morning. We went to a Columbus neighborhood park for a photo shoot. The kids were great to work with and we got some really nice portraits of the family. I'm sure they'll cherish these images for years to come. Spring Soccer Pictures

I spent some time shooting a COSA spring game. (COSA is the Central Ohio Soccer Asociation). These types of sporting events are a wonderful way to capture your child in their true environment. Please contact me if you would like pictures of your kid(s) or team(s).

Spring Portrait Sessions

I've had a few families contact me requesting upcoming portrait sessions. I am beggining to schedule sessions for Saturday mornings and/or early evenings starting April 5.
The sessions will be subject to weather conditions.....so please be flexible.

Hopefully the major snows are behind us and spring weather will quickly approach.

Great Photography Resource

I have been reading the blog of a great photographer and designer. She is in the process of launching a new website that will permit her to display (and sell) her Photoshop Actions/Presets/Templates and Design Services (logo, business cards, letterhead, etc..). I would like to introduce you to Ren (her name is Renee but she goes by Ren.) If you are into photography and processing your own images, you must visit her site often. She is wonderful to work with.
You want to know the really cool thing? She lives on the other side of the globe (down under in Australia). How cool is that? The internet is an amazing thing. Its making the phrase "its a smal world" even more of a reality.

New lens

Its been freezing here in Ohio...and I'm frustrated because I just purchased a new lens. I've added the Canon 70-200 f2.8L to my bag of equipment. Everything that I read about this lens is positive. They say this is a great lens for portraits, weddings, sports, etc... So, I finally braved the cold weather and went out to take a few pictures of my daughter. We only lasted about 10 minutes. However, this image is a result of what this lens is capable of.... Look how sharp. I cant wait for warmer weather..!!!!!

Strob light

So I am primarily a natural light photographer. However, recently I have been experimenting with off camera flash (strobist). The kids got me a light stand, remotes and an umbrella for a Christmas present. So I have been perfecting my skills in using flash as a light source for my photographer.
